Website and tool terms · Effective August 8, 2026

Terms for using TenantShield’s public website and tools.

These terms cover public website and tool use. Paid professional services are governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work.

1. Acceptance

By using the TenantShield website or public tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

2. Authorized use

You may use the website and tools only for lawful purposes and only with domains, accounts, tenants, systems, and information you own or are authorized to assess. You may not use them to interfere with systems, bypass access controls, collect information unlawfully, or misrepresent results.

3. External Exposure Scan

The scan evaluates public DNS records for directional email-domain signals. It is not a vulnerability scan, certification, or complete Microsoft 365 assessment. You are responsible for authorization to submit a domain and for interpreting results in context.

4. Browser Checker

The Browser Checker requires Microsoft authentication and delegated permissions. You are responsible for having authority to grant or use that access, reviewing the requested permissions, following your organization’s policies, protecting your session, and revoking access when appropriate.

5. Informational output

Website content, scores, tool results, sample findings, and recommendations are informational. They do not constitute legal advice, a compliance opinion, a certification, a penetration test, continuous monitoring, or a guarantee that a system is secure or free of vulnerabilities.

6. Sample content and public incident context

The sample report may combine cited public incident disclosures with a clearly labeled fictional organization, configuration, evidence set, findings, and recommendations. Public context is provided for education; illustrative assessment content is not a statement about a named third party, does not imply access or engagement, and does not establish root cause, control failure, affiliation, or endorsement. The sample demonstrates format and depth, not the outcome, timing, or finding count of a customer engagement.

7. Professional services

Pricing shown as “from” or “custom” is informational. Scope, fee, schedule, responsibilities, access, deliverables, assumptions, and acceptance terms for paid work are established only in a written agreement. Where these website terms conflict with a signed service agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.

8. Third-party services

The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including Microsoft, Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft Clarity, and Formspree. Optional analytics load only after your choice, but linked services and tools may still be governed by separate provider terms. TenantShield does not control their availability, interfaces, policies, or content.

9. Intellectual property

TenantShield owns or licenses the website’s branding, original text, design, methodology descriptions, and sample materials. You may use public content for internal evaluation but may not resell, republish, remove attribution from, or create a competing dataset from it without permission.

10. Availability and changes

The website and tools may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. Microsoft APIs, permission models, and configuration behavior can change, so output may be incomplete, delayed, or affected by licenses and access.

11. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the public website and tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

12. Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, TenantShield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from public website or tool use. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Paid-service liability, if any, is addressed in the applicable signed agreement.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are posted.
